This Istanbul excursion includes two the most important sites in Istanbul. These are; Hagia Sophia and The Blue Mosque.

Our tour guide will meet you on the pier. When the orientation finishes, you will go to Sultanahmet with our air-conditioned and non-smoking transportation cars (Vito, Transporter or Sprinter). During the drive, you will see Golden Horn, Galata Bridge, Suleymaniye Mosque, Byzantine old city walls and more historical places in Istanbul.

Our first station is Hagia Sophia which is very important for Christianity. It was built as and Orthodox Basilica and changed as a mosque by Ottomans, but now it restored as a museum.

When we depart from Hagia Sophia, our next stop is Blue Mosque. Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are very close to each other. On the road, you will see an amazing pool. You can sit next to pool and watch Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. When we finished visiting The Blue Mosque, next stop is Hippodrome.

During the tour, you can visit Grand Bazaar. There are handmade carpets, jewelry, pottery, spice and so many things that you would love. We can spend about 2 hours here. If you want to stay here (because Grand Bazaar is so big) let our tour guide know that you don’t want to come back to the pier.

Notes about Istanbul Tour

Grand Bazaar is closed on Sunday. We will visit Spice Bazaar instead of Grand Bazaar on Sunday. Spice Bazaar is also famous as Grand Bazaar. There are also carpet shops, jewelry shops, spice shops and more in there.

Hagia Sophia is closed on Monday. We will visit Topkapi Palace instead of Hagia Sophia on Monday. You are going to see old Ottoman Sultans palace. Our tour guide will tell you about how they live, what are they doing in the palace? And also you will see Harem (Ottoman Sultans’ wifes and cariyes lived in Harem.)
